Samuel's liver and kidney test results came back good! Yeah! He can continue to take the rest of his oral meds for ring worm! Hopefully it does the trick and gets rid of it for good! His ear is doing great, it already seems like he can hear a little better, although he still has packing in there. He actually complained the other day that Annabel was talking too loud in his ear, thats a good sign :)

Boys night out...

We try to take the boys, and then the girls, on a night out once a month. I know, not very often but hey, better then never! Last night we brought the boys fishing....we caught nothing, but it was fun....most of us thought so anyway. Bryce thought it should not count as their night out....leave it to Bryce, he will always try to take more than you give! I know he really did enjoy it though!

It was cold out there last night, but beautiful!! I love fishing, I was sure I would have caught something if only there a little longer. Maybe next time!!

Garden Time!!

We planted our garden last Saturday! I am so excited, can't wait to have the produce!! We are just running out of frozen vegetables from last years garden.

The kids enjoyed planting the garden also! Eric gave them a small section all their own. They were ecstatic!!

Beautiful cherry tree blossoms picked for me today, by my children! SO sweet.....except they all came back with branches full.....I think they may have brought me the whole tree!! :)

Samuel's surgery

I just had to take several pictures of him! Isn't he one of the cutest kids you ever saw?!?

Well, surgery went better than could be expected. The doctor said that everything was healed well in his ear, and there was no new growth. Yeah!! Praise the Lord!! He rebuilt the ear bones and took out the plastic they had left in last time, to help heal the ear.

Samuel is feeling great, was able to walk out of the surgery room, and to the car on his own this time! He is up walking around, excited to see his brothers and sisters, although he does get a little nauseous once in a while, and has a small amount of ear pain. Thank you for all your prayers!!

We enjoyed our time with Samuel alone. We went to Spokane Wednesday, then to a nice dinner with him, saw a movie, stayed the night in a hotel, got up and had surgery at 7:30 am, left for home at 11:30.

What a beautiful Spring day!! Today the kids got kites in the mail from some friends (thanks Abbey) it was the perfect day to fly them! Some of the kids had never flown kites before! How exciting it is to get your kite in the air and see it soring way up high! What a beautiful sight, what a beautiful day, what beautiful children, I'm blessed today!!!

Well this week did not turn out to be as fun as we thought it would. All the kids got the flu... except Alemu. They were in bed most days!

We did, how ever, manage to go get some chicks, today!! The kids were SO excited, and so was I!! They did not have as many chicks as we desired, so more to come in a couple weeks.....we want LOTS of eggs :)
